I've been travelling for over 35 years, and I have never found a place that didn't fascinate me. I've visited a few corners of the globe - hiked in the Amazon rain forest, climbed Machu Picchu, and ridden the bullet train through Japan.

Then I went to Africa. I camped in the bush, got to know the people of Botswana, explored the wild coast of Namibia. Now it's the place I keep returning to. There's no place that has more to offer a traveller than this enormous and diverse continent. I write about it here to hopefully inspire you to experience it for yourself!
